LOVE IS BLIND

Marry a woman, you say.  Find a nice girl and settle down.  I
wish I could make you happy, Mom, but we love each other.

I met IA at the Anatares Cultural Festival.  It was playing the
windharp, fanning the strings with those long, lovely cilia.  I
introduced myself, and we played some duets.

IA professed its feelings over dinner, and we consummated our
love in the ocean -- I, taking pleasure in IA's protean form;
it, desiring my solidity.

We cannot reproduce, true, but we'll adopt.  I'll be a good
father, and IA has promised not to devour our young.
