Status: O BOGEY AT THREE O'CLOCK ********************** "Bogey at three o'clock," intoned the battle computer. Luis jumped in his seat. Gimbaling the command couch around, he frantically scanned the skies for the familiar blue flash of MaZorm reaction jets. "Where the hell is it?! I got nothing on the monitors!" Luis toggled through radar and thermal displays. "Dammit, computer, this had better not be a false alarm." "Bogey at three o'clock," it impassively replied, flashing the output from the Hawking sensors. Luis boggled at the readout, then cursed to himself. "Fucking temporal mechanics," he snarled, setting his alarm for two-fifty and puling his cap over his eyes. -- This post is COPYRIGHT 1995, Andrew Solberg. All rights reserved.
