Status: O NIGHT OF THE CIVIL DEAD (2 of 3) ******************************** New York City: Meyer's Deli. Phil Moscowicz, enjoying his supper, feels the icy finger of death upon his shoulder. A disemboweled gentleman asks if Phil plans to finish his Reuben. Having lost his appetite, Phil surrenders his pickle as well. - * - The Undead were everywhere -- in cities, in desolate wastelands, on the medians of freeways -- all politely requesting food. Entire hospital morgues relocated to the cafeteria, inquiring about the soup du jour. Drowning victims inexorably clawed up the strand towards the paralyzed Sno-Kone vendor. Super- markets were suddenly full of shambling corpses patrolling the aisles for samples. Would this horror never end?! -- This post is COPYRIGHT 1995, Andrew Solberg. All rights reserved.
