TAKE ME TO THE FAIRE

It was a beautiful weekend, so I packed the family into
the hovervan and headed for the Atomic-Age Faire.

Naturally, everybody had to have Gatorade and a donut;
then we caught some shows.  I got a hoot out of "Duck
and Cover", but my wife loves those rascally "Duelling
Kickboxers".  We listened to the hip-hop minstrels and
then went to watch a game of Human Brinkmanship ("Take
*that*, Andropov!" "AIEE!")

Junior drooled over the Magnums, but he had to settle
for a hand-crafted cel-phone.  I bought some laser art
of Jerry Garcia.

Next year we're dressing 'period'.  Chinos for everybody!
