FAX ADVERTISING
***************

"It's difficult to explain over the vidphone," Vinson asserted.
"I'll fax you." He hung up.

A minute later, my fax box hummed to life and a Vinson clone
stepped out. "Let's take a look at those plans," it said.
Clones are very businesslike.

Fifteen minutes later, I understood the problem. The clone
melted into sludge in the bioplasm recycling bin, and I started
to draft a response to Vinson. Just then my fax activated again.

"Can I interest you in a variety of FREE simware chips?" oiled
the clone. I recycled it immediately.

How do these morons get my number?!
