Status: O FIREWORKS ********* "Fireworks, Daddy!" Angel crowed, seizing her father's hand and pulling him from his recliner. He protested as they filed through the entryway: "Hon, there's no fireworks until Thanksgiving; they foul the atmosphere. Angel, the dome's small enough that we would be able to hear them. Angel!" But then they were out the door and on the terrace, looking down the crater wall across the Mare Imbrium. Angel pointed triumphantly upwards. "Fireworks!" Angel enjoyed the yellow flares stippling the earth's blue background, spreading and fading to atomic orange. Her father liked it less. Why would anybody cry at a fireworks show? -- This post is COPYRIGHT 1995, Andrew Solberg. All rights reserved.
