Status: O ANIMAL HUSBANDRY **************** I've had it up to here with those danged giant ants. I set the herd out to pasture and was muckin' the pens when I heard somethin' peculiar outside. I got into the yard to find this ant, big as a tank, stalkin' my cows. I ran for the house and fetched my shotgun, but when I got back that nuisance had left, totin' my prize heifer away like a grocery sack. Since then they've raided me every day. They've learnt to fear buckshot, but they still got half my milch-cows. I guess they can't find aphids their own size. -- This post is COPYRIGHT 1995, Andrew Solberg. All rights reserved.
