Can I admit it? I'm paranoid. But it's only because /they/ made me
feel this way.

All right, I hear you say.  Who, exactly, are "they"?  Well, everyone;
all of you, basically. You all go along acting as if everything were
normal. Which it is, I suppose, but still. Looking at you, one might
almost think that you were being made to act that way--but the
government, aliens, invisible elves, whatever.

But that's crazy talk, paranoid BS. Even I know that. No, something
else (more subtle?) is going on.

All of you around me--you're not cooperating to crush me. I know that.
Each of you has decided to do it individually, maybe even unconsciously.
So, please, each of you, stop what you're doing and listen to me:

Leave me alone, OK? Just let me be.
