A TV show hosted by Elvira announces that Shaggy has won a trip to a tropical paradise on an island and is allowed to bring the gang along. Due to their previous experiences and the sheriff forcing the gang to retire from mystery-solving following the incident with Farmer Morgan, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo make the gang promise that they will not solve any more mysteries and will actually relax on this vacation. As the gang sail toward the island, they realize the surroundings are more swamp-like than tropical. The captain says that zombies inhabit the island, which reminds them of the last time, years ago, when they visited an island with zombies on it. Two people greet them off the boat but warn them to get out. A mysterious dark cat creature slashes one of the palm trees, which nearly crushes the car they are taking to the hotel. The gang continuously note strange things but due to their promise, refuse to look too much into it, determined to relax. However, the hotel is called "Moonstar Island Resort", eerily similar to "Moonscar Island" with the zombies, and the hotel itself looks exactly like the plantation house they had stayed in. They meet the hotel manager, "Alan Smithee", and other employees who look similar to the people they met on Moonscar Island. Scooby and Shaggy later get attacked by zombies and hide in a cupboard in the kitchen. In the cupboard, they accidentally press a button, causing them to fall into a cave below the house. The cave looks similar to the one from Moonscar Island, and has statues of the cat creatures. That night, zombies begin attacking the hotel. Scooby and Shaggy finally give the rest of the mystery-starved gang permission to solve mysteries again. After capturing the zombies, revealed to be the other hotel workers, Velma states the island is Moonscar Island and they have been lured there to film a movie. Alan is actually a famous film director, and the hotel employees are actors. Alan had lured the gang back with the competition Shaggy won in order to recreate a film similar to the gang's real zombie adventure. The gang agrees to continue making the film for fun. They also discover an upgraded monster truck version of the Mystery Machine, driven by Fred's stunt double. Alan reveals he has Simone's pendant, which he found on the island. Several of the island's cats and three cat creatures attack the gang. They try to escape by ferry but Alan burns it in a crazed moment, stating they must finish the movie first. They get into the Mystery Machine and Fred drives away from the creatures, even jumping over a river. The cat creatures attempt to take Simone's pendant, causing Velma to suspect that they are after the pirate Morgan Moonscar's treasure. They escape the creatures by the cupboard. In the cave, they find the dial that Simone and Lena used to drain the gang. They draw the three cat creatures into the cave, and it turns out to be the ferry driver and the two people who greeted them off the boat; they were looking for Moonscar's treasure. However, the identity of the fourth cat creature, the dark one responsible for slashing the tree, remains a mystery, causing Alan to suspect that that one is actually real. Velma, who is obsessed with coming up with a rational explanation for what happened on Moonscar Island last time, decides that the cat creatures had always been fake and the zombies were a hallucination caused by swamp gas. Fred and Daphne are hesitant to believe this theory, as they had decapitated a zombie last time, which proved it was real. However, they decide to let Velma have her moment. As the authorities arrive to arrest the ferry captain and his accomplices, the sheriff demands why they are solving mysteries again. The gang makes an impassioned plea, saying that this is their true calling in life, causing the sheriff to allow Mystery Inc. to be back in business once again. In the mid-credits, Elvira talks about the film "Zombie Teenagers and the Island of Doom" which also includes a trailer and outtakes during the production of it. ===== ===== While being transported via train to a carnival, a large king cobra escapes from its cage and kills two railroad workers. Maggie takes him to where the body is, only to find it gone as Dr. Owens released the body to a funeral home. At his home, Farrow gets a call from Downs, who warns him that the enemy has arrived into town. She says she will come to him and explain more. While Dr. Hendricks is about to leave, Maggie catches up to his cab and shows him the next victim, Evelyn Downs. Hendricks decides to stay and find out what species of snake is causing these attacks. Back in town, the Sheriff is called to a market store and finds a snake in there. Later at night, Dr. Hendricks drops Maggie off at her home. The Monsignore says that after St. Patrick was cursed by druids for burning down their shrines, the druid high priest cursed him and his descendants, all the way down to Farrow and his father. While they both try to explain what is going one, the Mayor arrives to calm the people down and even dismissed the snake attacks. Farrow, Paul, and Maggie follow the Mayor to the back room, where he tells them that while there will be a curfew, the group will have limited time to find the snake and that the dog track will open regardless of the circumstances. They are also threatened to keep quiet or they will be arrested. While the snakes are being searched for, and they manage to find several, Maggie is confronted by a mugger. However, before he can do anything, they are both attacked by the Cobra. They both manage to escape. Paul finds King Cobra skin in a cave, where the Cobra is revealed to be living. Paul draws a picture of what Maggie saw and Farrow reveals that before she died, Evelyn downs warned him that Satan himself had come and taken the form of a King Cobra. The next day, Matt Perry's daughter is attacked by another rattlesnake. Paul goes back to the cave and finds a pit of snakes as well as the Cobra itself, but tumbles down a steep slide and is knocked out. With the Perry's daughter in the hospital, the Mayor decides to cancel the dock track opening. After calling Father Farrow, Maggie goes to the same cave. She finds Paul, but is captured and put before the Cobra. Farrow blesses himself and goes to confront the Cobra. Arriving at the caves, Farrow calls out to the Cobra by shouting its name. Using prayer, Father Farrow confronts the Cobra and offers himself in Maggie's place. Praying to God, Farrow's golden cross glows. He shines it on the Cobra's body and the Cobra itself is engulfed in flames and killed. After losing consciousness, she awakens in another world in the body of Iris, the antagonist of an otome game she had been playing before her demise. To her shock, she discovers that she has reincarnated at the exact moment where Iris' former fiancé, Prince Edward, confronts her in front of the entire school over her bullying of Yuri, the illegitimate daughter of a baron and the game's heroine. Thinking fast, Iris manages to leave the school with her dignity intact and upon returning home, is also able to avoid being sent to a nunnery, the fate of the original Iris. Impressed by her rational thinking, Iris's father Duke Louis de Armelia leaves her in control of the Armelia fief in place of her brother Bern, who is one of Edward's supporters and is also in love with Yuri. As the series progresses, Iris uses her her previous life's knowledge to bring about major, positive changes to her fief and the kingdom, such as the concept of banking and schooling for commoners who would otherwise not receive education. She also introduces commercial products that had not previously existed or were only available in a crude form, such as chocolate and cosmetics, going so far as to start her own successful corporation. This brings both positive and negative attention to Iris, her family, and the fief, especially as it angers Prince Edward, who wanted her to be severely punished. It's also shown that Iris was not responsible for all of the bullying claimed by Yuri, as she had only spread rumors and made negative comments, and that Iris was a far kinder person than the one portrayed in the game's storyline. Furthermore, Yuri's personality is shown to possibly be a facade. It is also hinted that she is a foreign spy sent to disrupt the kingdom and that she is purposefully draining the kingdom's finances via Edward under the guise of charity in order to weaken it against an impending invasion. Iris finds herself and her family stuck in the middle of a succession crisis over the throne, as there is a vocal faction of people who support Edward's older brother Alfred, who is reported to be traveling to gain more support as well as to avoid assassination by his stepmother, the mother of Edward. ===== The study group meet on Halloween in costumes to go to Vicki's party, with the exception of Pierce (Chevy Chase), who has not been invited. As the group return to their preferred study room, they are met with protests by other students who see them as bullies. Flashbacks to past episodes show the group's actions interfering with other students' learning. Professor Cornwallis informs the group that they have missed a test and will be receiving a 0 grade. Now ashamed by their actions, the group works to improve facilities in the other study rooms before returning to their own study room. After David christens the boat, Tommy, Lindsay's boyfriend and David's protege, sees a bright flash of light emanate from the boat while taking a photo. David, Sarah, Mary, Lindsay, Tommy, and David's friend, Mike set sail for Bermuda. Mary gains an imaginary friend, a woman she claims lives on the boat, and begins making sinister crayon drawings of her friend. On the first night out, David hears a noise from above deck and investigates. He finds Tommy, who has non-fatally stabbed himself with a knife. Tommy attacks David with the knife and is promptly subdued. David has Tommy confined to a mental institution on the Abaco Islands, and he and Sarah resolve to keep this a secret from the others, which strains Sarah and David's relationship with Lindsay. David later receives word that Tommy hanged himself, much to his horror. Sarah later discovers Mary had drawn a picture of a hangman earlier. Numerous supernatural activity occurs, such as footprints mysteriously appearing, Sarah experiencing vivid nightmares, and Sarah being locked inside the cabin and seeing the apparition of a woman. Tension grows between the crew. Mary smashes a glass on Lindsay's face, and David and Sarah begin to fight constantly, as Sarah wants to turn back while David wants to continue the trip. Sarah and David separately research the history of the boat, and discover that its previous owners had disappeared in similar trips, and all sailed to the same destination; it is implied the boat is possessed by the spirit of a witch who is attempting to replace her children after being drowned. David and Sarah agree to turn back, and David orders Mike to change course. David hears mysterious noises topside, and discovers Mike, now under the control of the witch, has destroyed the sails, drained the ship of gas, and thrown the satellite phone overboard, and that the boat is caught in a torrential storm. Mike attacks David, but is knocked unconscious and trapped inside one of the cabins. Lindsay sees Tommy's ghost, and is convinced to commit suicide by jumping overboard, though she is saved at the last minute by David. Mike is released from the cabin, and knocks David and Sarah unconscious. Sarah awakens, tied up, and watches as Mike tosses David overboard. Mike does the same to Sarah, but she is able to climb back onboard. She attacks Mike, but he gains the upper hand. David, still alive, appears and shoots Mike with a harpoon gun. Mike falls overboard, and Sarah rescues Lindsay and Mary from the cabin she had been locked in. Sarah sends her daughters overboard in life jackets while David steers the boat. Before Sarah can leave, David is killed by the witch, who attacks Sarah. Sarah fires a flare gun at the witch, and causes the boat to explode. At the police station, Detective Clarkson concludes Sarah is a murderer and delusional, and has her escorted away by a police officer. Clarkson intends to make sure Sarah never gets custody of her daughters. As she checks footage of the interrogation, Clarkson discovers video distortions, and that Sarah is possessed by a witch. Clarkson hears a noise from the room where Sarah had been taken, and discovers the officer who escorted her dead and Sarah gone, having escaped through the window. The final shot reveals that the police station in the middle of a torrential storm, much like the one that had surrounded the boat. ===== Gael is gay and is being bullied at school. Her job involves working as a "Mimarobe" within the Mima, a machine designed to evoke viewers' experiences of Earth's lush, verdant past in a way that is indistinguishable from reality. In the first week of Aniara's voyage the ship suddenly veers off course after a collision with space debris. The maneuver means that the Aniara loses its fuel, though the captain promises the passengers and crew they will be able to turn around in no more than two years. The Mimarobe's roommate, the ship's astronomer, later reveals to her that this is a lie and that there is no possibility of resuming their course. On board, the Mimarobe finds her usually unimportant job becoming more popular and necessary than ever as passengers crave the Mima to soothe them from claustrophobia and panic attacks. After three years the Mima becomes one of the most important functions necessary to keep calm on board the ship. With so many people bringing their horrific memories of Earth's destruction to the Mima, it becomes overwhelmed and self-destructs. Though the Mimarobe had asked the captain for a month of rest for the Mima she is blamed for the machine's malfunction and imprisoned. By the fourth year, cults have developed and suicides lead the Mimarobe and Isagel, a former pilot who is now the Mimarobe's lover, to be granted releases and reassigned to work. The Mimarobe and Isagel join a fertility cult dedicated to Mima which leaves Isagel pregnant after an orgy. She suffers from depression during her pregnancy and is tempted to end the child's life after it is born. The Mimarobe wants to build a 'beam-screen', a projection device acting as a mimic of Mima to alleviate Isagel's depression, while the Captain forbids her from doing so and orders her to focus on educating children in the hopes that one or more of them might be able to discover a way to return them to Mars. In the fifth year, the ship's astronomer and Isagel discover that a probe large enough to possibly contain fuel is travelling towards the Aniara, meaning that a rescue is possibly being attempted. The probe takes over a year to reach the Aniara and upon being brought onto the ship in the sixth year, the crew quickly realize that they are unable to identify it, its origins or if it contains fuel. While the captain orders the crew to keep working on the probe they eventually lose hope of it being a means of rescue. The Astronomer laments that their ship is a sarcophagus, defying the captain's orders for the crew to keep a united front to prevent the passengers from losing hope. In a fit of rage, the Captain shoots and kills the Astronomer. The Mimarobe begins work on her projection device, eventually succeeding in projecting a waterfall onto the dark windows of the spaceship. Having succeeded she learns that Isagel has committed suicide and has also killed the child they were raising together, believing there is no future for them on board the spacecraft. Five years later, the remaining crew celebrate the 10th anniversary of their voyage into space. While listlessly accepting an honorary medal from the ship's captain for her creation of the beam-screen, the Mimarobe notices that his wrists are bandaged. In year 24 of the voyage, as a dark and ostensibly powerless Aniara drifts through space, a small group of passengers sits cross-legged in a dimly lit room. As an unidentified woman in the group rhapsodizes about the divine power of sunlight on Earth, the Mimarobe blinks in weakened semi- consciousness. Finally, in year 5,981,407 of its voyage, the Aniara, frozen and devoid of human life, reaches the Lyra constellation and what appears to be the star Vega. A planet, orbiting the star and as verdant and welcoming as Earth was formerly, begins pulling Aniara toward itself. ===== Ben Jones (Shearsmith), a thirty-four year old ornithologist is working in the sub-Antarctic on the fictional Bird Island. Elsewhere that morning, Gisigu's son, indigenous sheriff Traylor, responds to a call about a dying dog that belongs to his ex- wife, nurse Joss. Traylor euthanizes the dog by gunshot. He goes to visit Joss, and learns that their son Joseph has been arrested for vandalism in a nearby town and is in jail with his half-brother Lysol. Traylor then visits Gisigu, who shows him the gutted yet moving salmon. Joss's dead dog reanimates in the trunk of Traylor's police car, and Traylor shoots it. Gisigu and Traylor set the dog and the fish on fire. Traylor and Joss head into town to free Joseph from jail. Traylor, Joseph, Lysol, and police officer Shamu encounter an ill, violent man in the jail who bites Joseph on the arm. Joseph goes to a hospital, where his white, pregnant girlfriend Charlie is waiting. That night, Traylor responds to a call from a indigenous man named Shooker. Traylor enters Shooker's house and is attacked and bitten by Shooker's white girlfriend, whom Traylor beats with the butt of a shotgun. Traylor and Shooker head to a bridge where Joss, Joseph and Charlie have found themselves after having escaped the hospital in an ambulance. Six months later, the outbreak of flesh-eating "zeds" has become widespread, and the Red Crow Reservation has been turned into a fortified compound. Its residents have learned that indigenous people cannot be infected by the "zed" plague, though white people can. Lysol has become increasingly aggressive towards Joseph and others' tendency to bring outsiders—such as a man and his young daughter, the latter of whom was bitten by an infected person, as well as a girl named Lilith, who hides the fact that she has also been infected—to the compound. That night, at Lysol's shelter away from the compound, Joseph finds a now-zombified Lilith chewing on the severed penis of Lysol. Joseph and Lysol drive back to the compound with Lilith in restraints. Lysol stabs Joseph with a knife, and lets Lilith loose inside the compound. Traylor and Gisigu, who went on a mission to eliminate zombies at a gas station with fellow tribesman Bumper, return to the compound to find it overrun with zombies. They learn that Joss, Joseph, Charlie, and eight other survivors are trapped in the basement of the compound. In the process of rescuing them, Traylor is eaten alive by zombies. Joss, Joseph and Charlie escape with Gisigu and Bumper. While Gisigu and Joseph enter a church to stop two associates of Lysol from murdering a group of survivors, Lysol finds Joss, Charlie and Bumper. Lysol kills Bumper and Joss shoots Lysol, but not before Lysol is able to unleash a zombie from the trunk of a car. The zombie bites Charlie, and Joseph arrives and kills the zombie. Joseph and Gisigu lead a wounded Lysol away from the scene, and Joseph stabs Lysol. Gisigu lets off a gunshot into the air, alerting zombies to the location where Lysol is; the zombies proceed to eat Lysol alive. Joseph, Charlie and Joss set out into a large body of water on a boat. Gisigu, armed with a sword, stays behind on land to fight off the zombies. On the boat, Charlie gives birth to a baby girl. Charlie, succumbing to her bite wound, asks Joseph to kill her before she transforms into a zombie, and he mournfully shoots her in the head. ===== The Spanish Emilius has secretly married the French Louisa. Guna is a non-violent man who works with his closest friend Butta at a granite factory. While riding a scooter to attend to his B. Tech exams, Guna meets Geetha and falls in love with her at first sight. To see Geetha, who works at a phone store, Guna repeatedly causes his phone to malfunction. The love-struck Guna persistently showers Geetha with compliments, which eventually results in Geetha reciprocating Guna’s love. She tells him: “Until now, the best part of my life has been my family. From now on, it’s you.” Guna finds an online photo of Sashi, who had attended school with Butta. Guna believes that Sashi may be a good romantic match for his sister. Together, Guna and his sister visit Sashi at the medical shop Sashi owns. After the visit, Guna is convinced that Sashi is a good man and a perfect match for his sister. Later, while drinking at a dhaba, Sashi and his gang get into a brawl with Radha. Upon realizing that it is Radha, they immediately flee. When Sashi learns that Guna has known Radha since childhood, he pleads for Guna’s help. Guna agrees and arranges a meeting with Radha at the granite quarry so that Sashi can apologize to Radha. Radha arrives alone and viciously slaps Sashi across the face several times, though Guna asks Radha to stop. A bottle is thrown from across a barricade which hits Radha’s head. Unknown to Guna or Radha, Sashi’s gang had planned to kill Radha in an ambush. As Sachi's gang holds Guna down, Sashi slashes at Radha and eventually beheads him. Guna is later jailed for being an accessory to the murder, while Sashi is able to avoid any charges. Upon release, Guna is shunned by his neighbors. Guna goes to Geetha’s house but then learns she passed away while he was imprisoned. Her father falsely tells Guna that Geetha renounced their engagement before she died, and stating she did not want to marry a felon. At home, an enraged Guna tells his father that he will take revenge on the real killers of Radha. He visits Geetha's house, where he and his family are attacked by Radha’s henchmen. Although Guna prevails, Guna's father ends up in the hospital, injured. Guna loads the injured Radha's men into a jeep and takes them to Radha’s mother, where he explains to her that he did not kill her son. Radha's mother gives Guna one week to bring Sashi's gang to her. Guna finds Sashi’s men hiding in a police house and attacks them. In the following scene, Guna is seen drinking on a beach with Butta. Guna calls his father to tell him that he will go back to jail for what he is about to do to the Sashi gang. Butta berates Guna, advising him to hand the killers over to Radha's mother instead. Guna reveals that the SI said Butta had encouraged Sashi to kill Radha. Butta replies that Radha has humiliated his family, revealing that he was the villager whose parents were beaten in the opening scene. Guna says he also learned that Geetha had come to Butta for advice about her father’s insistence to marry someone else. Instead of advising her, Butta and Sashi recorded all of them raping her. Fearing the consequences of the video’s release, and the potential for blackmail, Geetha committed suicide. Forced by Guna, SI films Guna beheading Sashi’s six gang members. Then, to make Sashi and Butta suffer, he chops off their limbs. Guna surrenders to the police but is then praised for killing the rapists. The movie ends with Guna being released from jail and sets off to look for a new life. ===== Major Coridon Gore, aged 42, a well-known novelist, lives quietly in Elm Cottage near the fictional village of Halliard in Hampshire, looked after by his devoted housekeeper Florence Davey. The single-level section contained washrooms, generators, central heating and other details, and the two-story section contained the working area, or Reporting Hall. The PPI and height finder Intercept Cabins were arranged in a C-shaped pattern on the main floor of the Hall, raised slightly above ground level. Each Cabin included a PPI and height finder display, a plotting table where the fighter director worked, and a separate recording station for official reporting. There could be as many as a dozen individual PPI stations in the happidromes, depending on its size, but only a small number, two or three, were in the main Hall. These were referred to as red, green and yellow. In the open area in the center of the C, sunk into the ground, plotters would take reports called out from the Cabins and place wooden markers on a map to keep track of the battle as a whole. The markers also recorded information such as altitude and formation size. A second group of plotters received information from the fighter bases and placed similar markers on their own map indicating the location of aircraft outside their own area of operations. A third group then combined all of these reports onto the larger General Situation Map in the center of the Hall. At the back of the Hall, visible to everyone, was the Tote Board that indicated the status of fighter squadrons assigned to the Sector. Arranged roughly above the Cabins were a series of offices with large glass windows providing a good view of the floor of the Hall. These included offices for the Chief Controller, the Fighter Marshal, and the Anti-Aircraft Commander and Searchlight Controller. All of these offices also included their own PPI and recording stations. The Chief Controller, observing the progress of the battle on the General Situation Map, could select available aircraft from the tote board and assign them for interception. Any one of the Cabins could be given the task of intercepting a particular target, and would direct their associated fighter to the intercept. Serving all of the offices was the radio operations room, who handled general communications with aircraft not under direct control of the intercept cabins. These operators were primarily tasked with getting the fighters to and from their airfields. Some happidromes also included a separate tellers room where tracks were developed for reporting to other stations or headquarters. In order to reduce workload, as part of ROTOR the happidromes were further improved with the addition of skiatrons, which directly projected the PPI display onto the map boards. Operators could then plot traces simply by placing their markers on top of the dark spots on the map. Creating a track was as simple as updating the position of the markers at fixed times, leaving behind small arrows indicating their former locations. To connect to the outside world, happidromes were equipped with their own private branch exchange as well as VHF and UHF radio sets for communications with the aircraft. The antennas for the radios were located some distance away, often over a mile, to avoid interference from the radar. ===== A joyous drive back home from a wedding turns into a disaster as the driver loses control and the vehicle crashes leading to the death of all the people in the vehicle except for a baby. One day, while Se-ri is paragliding in Seoul, South Korea, a sudden tornado knocks her out and blows her off course. She awakens to find her paraglider crashed into a tree in a forest in the DMZ of North Korea (an area forbidden for South Koreans). There, she meets Ri Jeong-hyeok on patrol and he eventually gives Se-ri shelter and devises plans to secretly help her return to South Korea. Over time, they fall in love, despite the divide and dispute between their respective countries. During Se-ri’s time in North Korea, she is introduced to the soldiers under Jeong-hyeok’s command and the women in the village where he is posted, all of whom she befriends as she gradually learns about life in the north. Just before Se-ri went missing, her retiring father informed his family that he intended to announce her as his successor based on her abilities as a businesswoman, as shown by her successfully building her own company, instead of her half-brothers, Se-jung and Se-hyung, who struggled managing the chaebol's subsidiaries. The brothers are supported by their equally ambitious wives, Do Hye-ji, and Ko Sang-a, respectively. Se-ri's family suppresses the news of her disappearance out of fear that it will depress the stock price of the family-controlled chaebol. In Se-ri's absence, Se-Hyung outmaneuvers his siblings through unscrupulous means to win the succession battle to lead the family firm, while Sang-a attempts to take over Se-ri's company. Se-ri's and Jeong-hyeok's story is intertwined with that of Seo Dan (Seo Ji-hye) and Gu Seung-jun (Kim Jung-hyun). Dan is the sophisticated daughter of a wealthy North-Korean department store owner. She has been studying cello in Russia for several years but returns to marry Jeong-hyeok, to whom she is already engaged on the promise of an arranged marriage even though they only met a few times. As she returns to Pyongyang, she crosses paths, not for the first time, with Gu Seung-jun. Gu Seung-jun, who had previously been engaged to Se-ri, fled to North Korea (under the protection of corrupt North Korean officers) in order to escape from the pursuit of Se-ri’s brother Se-Hyung, under whose incompetent watch he had embezzled a large amount of money. The first half of the story follows Jeong- hyeok's attempts to hide Se-ri and help her get back to South Korea. They are impeded by Cho Cheol-gang (Oh Man-seok), a corrupt and ruthless State Security officer, who had previously arranged for the murder of Jeong-hyeok's older brother, an officer who tried to expose him. Jeong-hyeok's attachment to Se-ri distresses not only Dan, his fiancee, but also his father, a high-ranking political figure, as the discovery of Jeong-hyeok harboring a South-Korean could be used by rival officials to ruin their families. In the second part of the story, Se-ri is able to return to South Korea and resume leadership of her company, surprising family and others who had thought she was dead. While Cheol-gang is initially convicted for his crimes, he escapes custody through his criminal network and infiltrates South Korea to go after Se-ri. Despite opposition from his father who nevertheless reluctantly gives his support, Jeong-hyeok and his soldiers clandestinely arrive in Seoul to protect Se-ri from Cheol-gang's revenge. Meanwhile in North Korea, despite Seo Dan's and Seung-jun's initial encounters being random and unpleasant, she shelters him when corrupt officers betray him to Se-Hyung's gangsters, and they eventually fall in love. ===== An aspiring carpenter Luc travels to Paris to take the examination for a joinery school. His conviction relied heavily on Lanie's eyewitness testimony. After some podcasts have been released the twins are forced to meet after their mother commits suicide. Bustle magazine published a guide to the novel for fans of the TV series, detailing major adjustments the screenwriters made in their adaptation to a visual media. Roman helps out by convincing Lawrence, who is still at odds with Kendall, to take his side. Logan, meanwhile, arrives in Washington, D.C. to meet with the President of the United States, but the meeting is cut short at the last minute amid a possible terror threat. Logan is incensed and believes he has been snubbed. Shiv has dinner with her ex-boyfriend and fellow political fixer Nate, who floats the possibility of the two of them working for Logan's political nemesis on his presidential campaign. Shiv later spends the night in Nate's apartment, albeit in a separate room; the two of them nonetheless remain sexually attracted to one another despite both being engaged. Tom decides to reward Greg for seemingly destroying the documents pertaining to misconduct on the company's cruises by treating him to an expensive dinner. Greg, however, is obliged to first have dinner with his grandfather Ewan while he is still in New York. Ewan informs Greg that he is there to attend the vote against Logan, and advises that Greg stay out of the matter. Greg then attends his second dinner of the night with Tom and mentions the vote; Tom is surprised, having not been told about it beforehand, and calls Kendall to get up to date on the situation. Kendall, meanwhile, visits an unsuspecting Logan and has an amicable home dinner with him on Marcia's request. The next morning, he flies to Long Island to secure the vote of ailing board member Ilona Shinoy, who is still ambivalent about ousting Logan. Kendall manages to sway her to his side, but is unable to fly back to Manhattan, which has temporarily become a no-fly zone in the wake of the terror threat. Kendall attempts to take a cab back to Waystar's offices, but gets stuck in traffic and decides to hurry to the vote on foot. As Kendall rushes to the company building, Frank calls a board meeting and ambushes Logan with the vote of no confidence; Kendall reads his memorized statement over the phone to officiate the motion. Frank attempts to stall the vote until Kendall arrives, but Logan breaks company policy by refusing to leave the room and instead berates numerous board members (including Roman) into siding with him. Gerri, Lawrence and Stewy abstain from the vote, considering it a family dispute, while Ewan sides with his brother despite his moral misgivings about Logan and his company. Kendall finally arrives at the boardroom, but Logan fires him alongside everyone else who voted in favor of the motion, Frank included. A devastated Kendall is escorted out of the building by security. Later in the day, the President calls Logan back after the terror threat subsides; Logan remarks on having dealt with "terrorists of his own." ===== Kendall has cut off communications with the rest of his family and is suing Logan for firing him from Waystar. Tabloids suggest that Kendall, a recovering drug addict, has relapsed, but Kendall unconvincingly insists to Rava that he has not. Meanwhile, in an effort to fix his public image after the failed no-confidence vote, Logan agrees to a weekend-long family therapy session at Austerlitz, Connor's ranch in New Mexico, which Kendall chooses not to attend. The first therapy session, conducted by celebrity psychologist Dr. Alon Parfit, proves fruitless. Shiv leaves Austerlitz to meet U.S. Senator and presidential candidate Gil Eavis, a staunch leftist who vehemently opposes Logan and his company. Nate has been attempting to persuade Shiv to work alongside him for Eavis' campaign. Shiv considers the idea more seriously after meeting Eavis, and has a sexual encounter with Nate in his car. Kendall eventually does arrive in New Mexico and joins some locals on a cocaine and methamphetamine binge. Meanwhile, the rest of the therapy session also proves ineffectual, and Parfit is hospitalized after diving headfirst into a shallow pool and breaking several front teeth. Logan decides to give Roman more responsibilities by placing him in charge of overseeing a company satellite launch out of Japan. Roman, concerned for his brother's well-being, picks Kendall up from his relapse that night and takes him back to the ranch. Kendall returns to find the rest of the family in a heated argument. Logan demeans Tom and berates Shiv for meeting with his rival Eavis, causing her to leave crying. Logan also admits to planting stories in the tabloids of Kendall's drug use prior to his actual relapse. Still heavily intoxicated, Kendall accuses his father of resenting his children for the privilege in which he raised them, and nearly provokes a physical altercation when he flippantly dismisses the abuse Logan suffered at the hands of his uncle Noah. Marcia breaks up the argument, and Connor admits to Logan that he feels "used" by his father turning Austerlitz into merely another stage for waging his business-related conflicts. The next morning, the rest of the Roy children leave Austerlitz, and Connor tells his escort girlfriend Willa that he wants to make their relationship exclusive, to which Willa half-heartedly agrees. Logan goes for a private swim with only Marcia present, revealing visible scars across his back, seemingly from his childhood abuse. ===== On the day of Shiv and Tom's wedding, the family gathers for photos while Kendall and Stewy sequester themselves away from the rest of the crowd to finalize the announcement of their takeover bid for Waystar RoyCo. Kendall delivers the official documents to Logan, confirming that it is indeed a bear hug. Logan is furious and kicks Kendall out of his room, but begins scrambling to get ahead of the situation with his legal team immediately afterwards. Prior to the reception, Roman excuses himself to the restroom to watch the live broadcast of a Japanese satellite launch, which Logan had placed under his responsibility. However, the shuttle explodes on the launchpad. Roman later feigns surprise when Gerri confronts him about it. Meanwhile, Connor informs Willa that he intends to run for President of the United States. A stressed Logan joins the crowd amidst his legal crisis, and angrily fires a young waiter for spilling champagne on his arm. The waiter is immediately met with an NDA and cash settlement. The wedding reception begins that night and the Roys give their speeches for Shiv and Tom. Logan gathers his children to another room to inform them of Kendall's takeover bid, infuriating all of them. Kendall arrives soon after and confirms his plans, seemingly indifferent to the anger of his siblings. Afterwards, he repeatedly asks Stewy for cocaine, but Stewy declines in order to preserve Kendall's focus for the night. Roman is relieved to learn from Gerri that no one died in the rocket explosion. Connor announces his presidential ambitions to his siblings. Kendall runs into Greg outside the castle, who reveals that he kept copies of the documents pertaining to crimes on Waystar's cruises and uses them as leverage to request a better position within the company. Kendall is impressed and agrees to Greg's wishes. Shiv and Tom return to their bedroom, where Shiv confides to Tom that she feels she is better suited for a non-monogamous relationship, and admits her affair with Nate. Tom forgives her and ejects Nate from the wedding. Kendall wanders outside the castle looking for cocaine and runs into Andrew Dodds, the waiter whom Logan had fired earlier. The two do ketamine together and drive off in search of something stronger. As they approach a bridge, they swerve to avoid hitting a deer, landing the car into nearby water. Unable to save Andrew from drowning, Kendall flees the scene and returns to the wedding in shock. Having lost his keycard in the crash, Kendall breaks into his own bedroom, showers, and rejoins the crowd to keep up appearances with his family. The police investigate the case the following morning, and Logan privately informs Kendall that he knows he is responsible. Logan promises to make the case go away if Kendall attends rehab and calls off the bear hug. Kendall obliges and breaks down crying in his father's arms. ===== Hippolyte Léon Denizard Rivail, a French educator who, when studying the phenomenon of "Spinning tables ", discovers that there is the possibility of communicating with the spirits. Monica is shown to be a fierce and unafraid individual, who just weeks away from her wedding, accepts the order for investigation upon the urge of the military head of the base, Col. Suryaveer Chauhan, who incidentally happens to be a family friend. Initially, Monica finds the incident an open-and-shut case. However, after additional questioning of Shakti and Gaurav, she suspects them of wrong-doing. In reaction, the two hire Angad Sandhu as their counsel, who co-incidentally happens to be Monica's ex-boyfriend. After a series of confrontations and mishaps, Monica and Angad team up together to learn the truth. After days of twists and turns, Monica confronts Gaurav, who under emotional distress, reveals the truth partly. Gaurav says that he and Shakti are gay and they love each other. Even after Shakti's marriage and kid, they continued to maintain their same-sex relationship by making sure they were stationed at the same base. Gaurav says that after Maj. Paswan learned of their truth, afraid that he may expose them one day, Shakti and Gaurav plot to kill him with a fake terrorist encounter as a ruse. As the series ends, Shakti is taken into military police custody while Gaurav commits suicide. As Monica leaves for home, she remembers another detail that bothers her and returns to the base. She confronts Shakti to unveil the remaining truth and Shakti tells her that Col. Chauhan wanted purity in the military and asks her to confront him. After setting up a routine conversation with Col. Chauhan, in a fit of rage, he admits that he directed Shakti and Gaurav to kill Ajay as he disapproved of his engagement with his daughter as Ajay belonged to a different caste that he felt were inferior to his. He blackmailed Shakti to commit this crime to protect his gay identity. Monica finally exposes Col. Chauhan and admonishes him for wearing a military uniform that is meant to serve all irrespective of gender or societal status while committing such crimes. She brings forth his daughter, Gayatri, who slaps him and abandons him. The series ends with a tribute to the brave men and women of the Indian armed forces. ===== Aman Junaid Khan and Roshni Ahmed are individuals who are poles apart but their lives are connected in the most extraordinary way; through fate and magic.
