The next day, Sivaji calls Abhi and taunts him, saying that a car with a famous athlete inside will be attacked and that he must save it. Abhi finds Sivaji's fan club and gets them to help by claiming that Sivaji is in the car, barely managing to stop the attackers. To his shock, Sivaji exits the car instead. Anhelli was chosen by Shaman from Polish exiles as the redeemer because of his "purity and sinlessness" and he was to be subjected to an initiation by taking part in a journey to see the suffering of the nation. Siberia is portrayed in Słowacki's poem as "white hell" for Polish exiles, a place of execution and spiritual downfall. The main characters wander through various places from deserts and abandoned graveyards through forests to the dark mines of Siberia. Their journey is reminiscent of Dante's journey through hell where the main protagonist, accompanied by Virgil, crosses the circles of hell meeting the damned along the way. Polish exiles are depicted as travelling across a deserted, hostile and hellish country, working hard in mines, suffering in cold dungeons with shackles on their legs and enduring beatings and humiliation. Their children are starving and are subjected to forced Russification. Anhelli and Shaman's journey starts from the House of Exiles and was supposed to end there as well. However, Shaman's death resulting from a fight among the exiles forces Anhelli to embark on another journey to a faraway desert in the north where he dwells in a hut carved out from ice. Upon the death of Ellenai, a penitent and Anhelli's exiled companion, he is visited by two angels heralding the end of the world as well as his own death. Soon after, he also passes away and is not awakened by the call of the armoured Knight to resurrect and take revenge on the oppressors. ===== Miyo Sasaki is an unhappy middle school girl living in the town of Tokoname who does not get along with her stepmother. Later that evening, as Tarō, Miyo learns that Hinode's family is closing their pottery shop, as his grandfather is retiring and the family can no longer afford it. Hinode's kindness towards her, combined with a need to cheer him up at the loss of his hobby inspires Miyo to confess her love in the form of a letter. The next day in class, a bully snatches the note before she can deliver it and reads it aloud, embarrassing both Miyo and Hinode. When confronted, Hinode saves face by publicly telling Miyo that he hates her. Miyo later visits Hinode as Tarō and spends the night with him. In the morning, she decides that life with Hinode as a cat is better than life without him as a human, and her human face falls off in the form of a porcelain mask. The mask seller appears to claim Miyo's face and tells her that he will give it to a cat who wants to become human. Miyo's friends and family begin searching for her, including Hinode, who confesses to Tarō that he doesn't really hate Miyo. Leslie thanks Ron for the gesture. ===== The story is told in several interlocking threads which are not always chronological. King Casmir of Lyonesse arranges the marriage of his daughter Suldrun to Faude Carfilhiot, Duke of Vale Evander. In this Casmir hopes to bring armies through Carfilhiot's lands in South Ulfland, so as to attack the rival kingdom Dahaut on two fronts. Repelled by Carfilhiot, Suldrun refuses. In a rage, Casmir confines her to her garden, barred on two sides by a steep ravine, the third by a wall and a locked gate, and the fourth by the sea. Suldrun is content to be alone until one day a half-drowned sailor washes ashore. Princes Aillas and Trewan of Troicinet are sent on a sea voyage to visit the various kingdoms of the Elder Isles to gain experience at statecraft. While in port, Trewan learns that his father has died and that the line of royal succession now passes from King Granice to his youngest brother Ospero and then to Ospero's son Aillas, bypassing Trewan. He conceals this knowledge from Aillas and, late at night, pushes Aillas overboard. Aillas washes ashore at the foot of Suldrun's garden. While he recovers, they become lovers and plan to escape. However, they are caught and betrayed by the Queen's confessor Brother Umphred and Casmir orders Aillas imprisoned without even bothering to learn his name. In due time, Suldrun delivers a son named Dhrun, and gives him into the care of her former nurse to hide him from her father. However, Dhrun is taken by the fairies and replaced with the changeling Madouc. Casmir retrieves the baby and, none the wiser, takes her back to the castle. Believing that Aillas and her son are dead, Suldrun hangs herself in her garden. Aillas manages to escape and returns to the garden where he learns from Suldrun's ghost that he has a son, but he is perplexed to see the Princess Madouc in a royal procession. Aillas learns of the changeling from the old nurse and sets out on a quest to find his son, using a "Never- Fail", a talisman that points him in the right direction, obtained from the fairies at no small price. Dhrun, a cheerful happy baby, is raised in Thripsey Shee by Twisk, Madouc's mother, who stole him from the old nurse's family, leaving Madouc, her willful and cranky child by an unknown vagabond. Time passes differently in the shee than in the mortal realm; Dhrun lives 9 years in the shee in the span of one mortal year. Since he is not a true fairy, he is cast out of the shee, but without malice (except for a spiteful rival who curses him with seven years of bad luck). Dhrun sets out through the forest of Tantrevalles, a haunted place where the human presence is weak and the supernatural is very real. He rescues Glyneth, a girl of about 14, from a troll, and they have a number of adventures before joining Dr. Fidelius, supposedly a physician specializing in the treatment of sore knees, who travels between the country fairs of Dahaut in a medicine show wagon pulled by two two-headed horses. Faude Carfilhiot, wanting to be a powerful magician but lacking the patience to learn the necessary skills, schemes with his lover Tamurello. They will use Melancthe to seduce and distract Shimrod while Carfilhiot steals his magical apparatus, by which theft Shimrod (relatively new to his craft) would be so weakened as a magician that he could not retaliate. The plot is successful but Shimrod's equipment is protected by magical locks and is unusable. Shimrod learns from a magic monitor that watches his house that the thieves who tortured his house servant and stole his goods were a handsome young aristocrat and an older robber who complained that years of climbing on rooftops had left him with sore knees. Shimrod adopts the guise of Dr. Fidelius, a specialist in sore knees, in hopes of finding the robber, who will lead him to the aristocrat. Aillas' quest to find his son is interrupted when he is captured by the Ska. He tries to ransom his freedom, but they are not a numerous people and need labor more than gold. The Ska lay siege to Carfilhiot's castle Tintzin Fyral, and Aillas gets a good look at the castle's defenses. He is then sent to work as a house slave at Castle Sank, home of the Ska Duke Luhalcx and his family, where he becomes infatuated with Lady Tatzel, the Duke's daughter. Aillas escapes Castle Sank with two other slaves, Yane and Cargus, but they are recaptured and sent to the fortress Poëlitetz, which guards the boundary of Dahaut and North Ulfland. Here, Aillas is assigned to a work crew digging a secret tunnel from Poëlitetz out to the plain in front of the fortress. Aillas leads another escape, and after a series of adventures finds himself on the southern outskirts of Avallon, the capital city of Dahaut. The Never-Fail indicates that Dhrun is northward, in the city or beyond. Faude Carfilhiot leads a band of men out from Tintzin Fyral on a "hunting" expedition to capture one of the barons who oppose his rule. However, it's an ambush, set up by Carfilhiot's enemies working together. His troops are killed one by one but he escapes with his life and seeks refuge at Melancthe's palace. He says they should be lovers; who better, since they are the same person. She disdains him because he inhaled the green fume whereas she tasted it and spat it out. He seduces her. In retaliation, she magically transports him all the way across the Elder Isles to Avallon. Lacking funds, he seeks out the bandit Rughalt of the sore knees, his accomplice, to provide him shelter and funds. Rughalt is practically destitute; his knees are so bad he can no longer burgle houses and his only income comes from robbing the guests of a mean little inn. He sees Dr. Fidelius' wagon at the great fair of Avallon and is desperate for a cure. Carfilhiot tells him Fidelius is probably a quack but Rughalt is adamant; if he got his agility back, he would no longer be poor. Shimrod takes Rughalt deep into the woods and extracts Carfilhiot's name from him. Carfilhiot, waiting for Rughalt, suddenly intuits that Fidelius was Shimrod. He kidnaps Dhrun and Glyneth and steals the wagon, driving it to Tamurello's mansion, who uses magic to send it back to Tintzin Fyral. Aillas, now in Avallon, learns from the captain of a Troice ship that his father lies dying; if he dies and Aillas is not on hand, Trewan will be crowned king. As Aillas, Yane and Cargus debate what to do, Shimrod runs up and asks if they have seen a wagon pulled by a pair of two-headed horses. Aillas had, and Shimrod tells him that Faude Carfilhiot has kidnapped two children that were travelling with him. Aillas notices that the Never-Fail is suddenly pointing south, and asks the names of the children. Shimrod and Aillas ride to Tamurello's mansion but arrive too late; Carfilhiot and the wagon are gone. Aillas decides with a heavy heart he must return to Troicinet to prevent Trewan from being crowned king. Accompanied by Yane and Cargus, Aillas arrives at the last possible minute and confronts Trewan with his murderous deed. When Trewan attacks Aillas Cargus kills him, and Aillas is crowned king of Troicinet. Shimrod can not act directly against Carfilhiot to rescue Glyneth and Dhrun, because that would constitute taking Aillas' side in a political matter and violate Murgen's edict. However, Aillas has learned that Quilcy, King of South Ulfland, has drowned in his bathtub, and that Aillas is his rightful heir by collateral lineage. He lands a force of troops in South Ulfland, proclaims his kingship, and demands a show of fealty from Carfilhiot as Carfilhiot's rightful liege lord. Carfilhiot refuses, and Aillas' Troice troops lay siege to his castle. Aillas' soldiers, informed by his knowledge of the castle's defenses, avoid the traps and pitfalls Carfilhiot has prepared, much to Carfilhiot's dismay. He calls on Tamurello, who confronts Aillas. This gives Shimrod an excuse to call on Murgen, who forbids Tamurello from acting and banishes him to his mansion. Tamurello offers to bring Carfilhiot to his manse, but Carfilhiot refuses to leave his castle. The siege is eventually successful, Dhrun and Glyneth are rescued, and Carfilhiot is hanged as a traitor to his king. When his body is cremated, a green fume escapes and blows out to sea, where it mixes with the spume and condenses into a "green pearl", which sinks into the sea and is swallowed by a fish. Aillas, now King of Troicinet, Dascinet and South Ulfland, and his son Dhrun, make a diplomatic visit to Lyonesse. Casmir is puzzled as to how Aillas, barely out of his teens, could have a nine-year- old son, and why Aillas' face seems rather familiar. ===== On New Year's Eve in 1999, a group of regulars meet at the Frankfurt Junction, a bar in Frankfurt. The plot outline is as follows: There was a hunchbacked (humpbacked) man who made his living selling his plaited goods woven from straw or rush, nicknamed Lusmore ( literally "great herb", referring to the 'foxglove') because he habitually wore a spring of this flower or herb on his straw hat. He dwelt in the Glen of Aherlow, Co. Tipperary. On journey back from peddling, he grew tired and rested near the moat (barrow) of Knockgrafton, and as it grew dark, he heard voices inside the barrow singing the refrain of "Da Luan, Da Mort (Monday, Tuesday)". When the singing paused, Lusmore sang back, adding "agus Da Cadine (and Wednesday)" to the strain. This delighted the fairies, and Lusmore was conveyed inside the barrow by a whirlwind. There, he was entertained, and afterwards had his hump removed as reward, together with a new set of fine clothing. Then an old woman came to visit, saying she was from (the neighbouring) Co. Waterford, the land of the Decie (Déisi). She wished to know the particulars of Lusmore's story, on behalf of a hunchbacked son of her godmother (""). translates as "godmother". The hunchback named Jack Madden then traveled to the moat to imitate the conduct, but in his irrepressible desire to have the hump removed quickly, he interrupted the fairies, and hoping to be rewarded doubly with clothing, added two more days to the refrain, "Da Dardine, augus Da Hena (Thursday and Friday)". This only angered the fairies, and in retribution, twenty strong members of them brought Lusmore's lump and added it on top of Jack' original hump. The player is instead intended to create their own story. Lead developer Alexander Mosolov has stated that the player is intended to uncover lore as they travel throughout the world. The game takes place in the year 3126, after humanity figured out faster-than-light travel using transport gates. For many years, this travel caused a sort of space golden age. However, exactly 206 cycles ago, all gates abruptly stopped functioning and humanity entered a Dark Ages of sorts. This event is referred to as "the collapse". 206 cycles after the collapse, our player enters the sector. In the sector, there are various different factions that have taken hold and reached a strategic stalemate, with no faction being able to win. These factions are: * The Hegemony, a martial state that believe that they are the true successor to the galaxy. In game, the hegemony are the largest faction with the most colonies. They use relatively low-class ships. * The Persean League, a faction whose sole purpose is to revolt against what they believe to be the illegitimate martial law enforced by the Hegemony. They use relatively mid-class ships and control many markets on various worlds. * The Tri-Tachyon are the remnants of the Tri- Tachyon corporation, one of the most powerful corporations in the sector before the collapse. They make and sell most of the technology found in game, and use high-class ships. * The Sindrian Diktat, a faction founded after a revolt against the Hegemony. They are considered by the system at large to be a military dictatorship. They primarily manufacture fuel. * The Luddic Church, also known as The Church of Galactic Redemption, is a faction inspired by a martyr named Ludd. They blame technology for the downfall of humanity and seek a return to a simpler time. The use simple, low-class ships. * The Luddic Path is an extreme sect of the Luddic church that claim to have a truer interpretation of Ludd's teachings. They believe that only through extreme violence will humanity return to a simpler age. The Luddic path is hostile to every faction except the Luddic Church and pirates. * Pirates are a loose faction of mercenaries, bandits, looters, and terrorists. Bounties are often put on pirate's heads, and collecting said bounties is one of the main ways to earn money. Pirates are hostile to every faction except the Luddic Path. ===== Effie is trapped in a house with her husband Hank, an "angry, stale little man", due to the lingering radioactive dust from a nuclear war using cobalt bombs. A limited war went on for years with both sides carefully controlling their bombing to stay below the lethal radiation threshold. When, by accident, they tripped over the point of no return, all of the forces launched their remaining weapons in "the Fury". Those that survived did so in caverns, where whole societies were built. It is only now, years later, that one can live at ground level, albeit in a heavily lead-shielded and air-filtered home. Hank berates Effie for her unwise decision to open the shutters for a moment to look at the green-colored moon. She closes the shutters and checks herself with a Geiger counter. Hank is further maddened when it "goes off" near her waist, but this turns out to be due to a radium-painted wristwatch in her pocket. It is revealed that Effie is pregnant, which Hank believes has led to a recent promotion and will continue to improve their social status over time. He is further angered when she refuses to go to a public dinner where his promotion will be made public. She persuades him to go alone. As soon as he leaves, Effie returns to the window where she is greeted by a man living outside. He enters through the window, and in return for food, he tells her his name is Patrick and talks of the new Garden of Eden that emerged due to the mutations caused by the radiation. Hank returns early, mentioning he was aware Effie was carrying on an affair and he had realized the radium watch was a ruse to disguise the radioactive fetus. Patrick denies any affair, and Hank argues with him. Effie becomes increasingly desperate to leave the house. She states that Patrick's survival proves the dust is no longer radioactive. This is disproven when the Geiger counter, the "ultimate arbiter of truth in the 20th century", goes off the scale when Hank measures Patrick. Patrick comes clean; the stories of the garden of Eden are simply a seduction technique that has worked for him in the past. The revelation drives Effie insane; she leaps out the window and runs off. Patrick chases after her, while Hank simply returns into his home and locks the window behind him. ===== Egil (Knut Agnred), a middle-aged man living a simple life, is a regular painter. A large, black structure has appeared, killing off every lifeform in its path. “Project Eternal Vigilance”, a project dedicated to keeping an eye out for the Strain, suspects it to be a mutant version of Andromeda. The anomaly is reported and another “Project Wildfire” takes off. Nidhi Vedala, Harold Odhiambo, Peng Wu, Zachary Gordon, and Sophie Kline are selected as the field scientists for the investigation by computer generation. However, overseer General Stone replaces Gordon with James Stone, the son of Jeremy Stone, based on a hunch. The field scientists are told about their positions and ushered to a spot in the rainforest right outside of the quarantine zone for the anomaly. Sophie Kline does not appear, noting that she is an American astronaut residing at the International Space Station, who also suffers from ALS. Stone arrives late because he was added at the last minute, sparking tension between him and the leader, Vedala (who also does not believe he is qualified to be there). The group starts off towards the anomaly (despite Kline's constant disapproval), led by Sergeant Eduardo Brink and guided through the rainforest by natives. As Kline studies the anomaly from space, she confirms that it is a new strain of Andromeda: AS-3. After seeing many ominous signs from the native tribes, the group decides to stop for the night. In the darkness, a tribe attacks in a strangely violent manner. All of the guides are taken down and Brink kills off all of the tribe members. However, he is shot in the shoulder with an arrow contaminated with the AS-3, and dies overnight. Peng finds an Omega poison in his bag, and keeps it. She does not feel as if she can trust the others with her new knowledge due to a pre- existing anxiety disorder. The field scientists are alone, and begin studying the tribe members’ bodies. They figure out that they were infected with the AS-3, and had been mining the anomaly to create weapons (such as Brink's fatal arrow). Meanwhile, Odhiambo points out a little tribal boy who had been hiding. The kid does not appear to be sick. Stone uses a translation device to converse with the boy, who reveals that his name is Tupa. Tupa explains that he is the only surviving member of his tribe. He and James Stone become inseparable, much to Vedala's discomfort. Meanwhile, the team misses their rendezvous with Stern due to the circumstances. The government is planning to resort to “Operation Zulu” to get rid of the anomaly, a plan which would wipe out the scientists as well. With this knowledge, Kline tries to reach Brink, not knowing of his death. She asks him to use the Omega, and Peng, knowing what that means, informs the others that for some reason Kline wants them dead. They set up a sign saying “ALIVE” to reveal that they are not dead yet, and continue on. Once they get to the anomaly, the group realizes that it is constantly growing, and that it is extremely hot. Peng becomes increasingly anxious. They decide to enter the anomaly through its opening, much to her discomfort. Stone orders Tupa to stay back, but the boy secretly follows soon afterwards. Inside the anomaly, Stone uses drones to check ahead. They find the mangled body of a white man melted into the floor inside, raising questions as to where they are. They then come to the realization that they are in a capsule building. They enter a room to find many other bodies - construction workers, and the source of the Andromeda anomaly. As they look around, they find a control hatch leading down under the Amazonian lake it had landed over. As they continue to explore and discover, a radio transmitter is stimulated and Sophie Kline's voice comes over the radio. She explains that they have reached the control room, and that she warned them to stay away. Tupa is revealed and runs to Stone as Peng verges on a panic attack. Then, a broken propeller starts again and the Andromeda reactivates. As the floor becomes quicksand, they rush under to the hatch they found previously. Vedala ushers Peng along, but she is preparing to make a run for a different exit instead. Vedala watches as she runs and trips, and begins dying of infection. As she lies on her back in agony, she reveals to one of Stone's drones in her dying breaths that the Andromeda is on every planetary body in the solar system. It was alien machinery, looking for other life forms. Meanwhile, Kline locks up her fellow astronauts and begins working against the Andromeda, a long-awaited plan. She sees it as yet another threat, and she creates a “space elevator” from the anomaly and tries to create a new strain based on AS-1 and AS-2 to defeat AS-3 with the help of her robot, despite Stern's begging for her to stop. She built the anomaly. As the remaining team in the Amazon continue down the hatch, water from the river starts coming. The team rushes to escape it and to find a way out. Stone tries to help Odhiambo, who is older, but eventually it becomes worthless. Odhiambo begs for Stone to save himself, so Stone leaves him behind as Odhiambo drowns to death Eventually out of the hatch, Stone is left with just Vedala and Tupa. They realize that Kline has created a space elevator. Communicating with Stern, Vedala notes that the only way that they can stop Kline is to do so directly: traveling to the ISS. Her and Stone go up to the ISS through the space elevator, and are forced to face Kline. They find her dying of her own creation. They beg for her to stop, yet Kline resists and upsets Stone by calling him, “Jamie.” Eventually, she brings out her robot to fight them directly. It being much more powerful than either scientist, they are completely powerless to it. It breaks in Stone's helmet, and he realizes that the only way to stop it is to stop Kline herself. So, he uses the Omega poison against her, stored in his pocket to keep away from Tupa. Kline is killed, along with her robot. Vedala, who now has major injuries from the robot's attack, approaches Stone and realizes that he has gotten infected from breathing in the strain. He tells her to leave him to die, yet as she goes she tries to think of ways that he can live. They start admitting things to each other, and he eventually admits that Jeremy Stone adopted him, and that he was “Jamie Ritter”, the baby from the first incident. Vedala realizes that Stone has benign microparticles still in his lungs from his first infection, protecting him and making him immune from Andromeda. The two continue onwards. The other two astronauts put Vedala on morphine, yet someone still needs to sever Kline's ribbon to finally stop her plan. James Stone goes back down through orbit to do so, and as he is forced to speed up due to Kline's creation's acceleration, he briefly sees his dead mother from Piedmont who assures him that he needs to stay alive. He continues and gets the deed done, eventually reuniting with Tupa who had found his way out of the anomaly. The two were both the sole survivors of their respective birthplaces. Afterwards, Stone and Vedala are hinted at getting married and adopting Tupa. At the very end, Stern and a group of other scientists notice that Andromeda has reached Saturn and is directly connecting to an unknown extraterrestrial source. ===== Ho Ka- chai (Bill Tung) makes living by singing sex songs at a public square in Yung Shue Tau. When the missionaries invite his daughter to attend the mission school, Han at first refuses but gives in when he sees how happy it makes his daughter. She learns to write and though he himself cannot read or write, he proudly keeps her writing in his pocket. The mission also helps the farmers by providing topsoil for them to begin planting again. One day Han's young son finds an unexploded cartridge in their yard and playfully hammers it into the ground. It explodes, wounding him badly. Having no experience with prayer, Han is distraught. The boy is taken to the mission hospital, where the head doctor shows Han around and assures him the wound is not fatal. Han is amazed by how clean the mission hospital is and also how happy the children are there as they heal from their injuries. After two days in the hospital, Han returns to his field and cannot believe his eyes. All his neighbors are pitching in to plow and plant his field. He tells the minister that he cannot possibly pay them, and wonders what motivates them to help him. The minister explains that faith in Christ is expressed through deeds. Just as Christ helped others, it is one's Christian duty to help neighbors in need. Having seen the effect of faith on his wife, children, and neighbors, Han considers adopting it for himself. In the final scene, when his wife serves the meal and pauses to thank God for their food, Han also bends his head in prayer. ===== Ex-convict Chen Sheng works as a doctor in a rural community. Jonas confesses that he lied on the evening Nathan got kidnapped, telling the police that the kidnapper forced him to leave the vehicle, and not that he had actually escaped on his own and left Nathan behind. Since then he's struggled with the guilt that he should have stayed in the car, or should have tried to rescue Nathan, but he is forgiven by both Nathan's mother, who reminds him that he was only 15, and by Nathan's brother, who points out that if he had stayed in the car, he'd be dead, too. Once alone, Shaw ambushes her and leaves her to drown so that he can claim her Council seat for Shinobi.Marauders #4-6 ===== Kellestine was disliked by the "no surrender crew", who considered him to be erratic and obnoxious, charging that he used methamphetamine too much for his own good. This led him to align with the Winnipeg fraction. Sandham in his turn, saw the "no surrender crew" as the only thing that was preventing him and the Winnipeg chapter from being granted full patches, and often pressed Kellestine to act against the Toronto chapter. On 4 March 2006, Sandham sent out an email under the bland pseudonym "John Smith" to all Winnipeg chapter members to announce chapter president Sandham had just been promoted to a full patch Bandido (by whom he did not say). Edwards wrote that this promotion by Sandham of himself was just as spurious as his martial art of "Sando". Sandham went on to write: "Things are going good. Do not answer Toronto at all!! W[einer] is coming out here to speak as well as to the States. U.S is behind us 100% as well as Germany...Much Love, Loyalty and Respect...Bandidos Fuckn Canada!!!". On 7 March 2006, Sandham, Kellestine and "Concrete Dave" Weiche travelled to British Columbia to visit the Peace Arch Park on the American-Canadian border. American bikers generally cannot enter Canada, as most of them have criminal records and vice versa. The Peace Arch Park, where it is possible to hold a conversation without crossing the border, is a popular meeting place for Canadian and American bikers. An American Bandido, Peter "Mongo" Price, told Sandham and Kellestine that Houston was furious that the "no surrender crew" were still wearing Bandido patches despite being expelled in December 2005. Price was the national sergeant-at-arms of Bandidos USA, making him in charge of discipline, and accompanying him were Keinard "Hawaiian Ken" Post and Brian Bentley of the Washington state Bandidos. The fact that Price had flown from Houston to meet Kellestine and Sandham in the Peace Arch Park suggested he had something especially important to say, that he could not say on the phone or write in an email. Price further informed Kellestine that he would become the new Canadian Bandido president if he succeeded in "pulling the patches" of the "no surrender crew", while the Winnipeg chapter would be granted "full patches", making them into full members. Price concluded by stating that both Kellestine and Sandham would be expelled as well if they failed with removing the patches being worn by the rogue Toronto chapter. At his trial in 2009, Sandham testified that Price who was representing Pike had told him that Muscedere and the rest of the "no surrender crew" were to be killed with Kellestine to become the new leader of the Canadian Bandidos as the reward. After the meeting in the Peace Arch Park, Weiche chose to remain in Vancouver, though he regularly exchanged phone calls with Sandham. In his emails to his enemy Raposo after the meeting in the Peace Arch Park, Sandham adopted a mocking, condescending tone of superiority, as he was secure in the knowledge that Houston was on his side. Between 20–22 March, Sandham again went to Vancouver to meet with American Bandidos in the Peace Arch Park. The Winnipeg crew claimed that Sandham received a phone call from an American Bandido, Keinard "Hawaiian Ken" Post, asking why the "no surrender crew" were still wearing Bandido patches five months after being expelled and accused them all of incompetence in allowing this situation to persist. On 25 March 2006, Sandham announced to his followers that he had received orders from Houston to act against the "no surrender crew" and they were departing for Kellestine's farm without telling him that they were coming. Sandham assured his followers that Kellestine had plenty of guns at his farm, but he brought alone a bullet- proof vest and a box of surgical gloves, saying he needed them to leave no fingerprints on the guns that Kellestine would provide. When Sandham arrived at Kellestine's farm, he lied to him by claiming not to know why he had been sent there, and told Kellestine that he would receive further orders from Houston. Kellestine was surprised by Sandham's visit, but he quickly took charge of his guests and provided them with weapons from his hidden cache of arms he kept at his farm. Despite two lifetime bans on possessing weapons, the self-proclaimed "gun nut" Kellestine continued to collect guns and had a large collection of guns and ammunition at his farm. While stopping in Dryden in northern Ontario, Sandham received a phone call from his common-law wife Kathleen saying that the Bandido Pierre "Carlitto" Aragon had arrived in Winnipeg and was looking for him. Aragon had apparently been dispatched by Muscedere to kill Sandham, who was seen as the source of their problems with Houston. Arriving to help Kellestine with "pulling the patches" were Sandham together with three other Winnipeg Bandidos, namely Dwight "Big Dee" Mushey, a kick-boxer and boxer who owned and managed a strip club; Marcello "Fat Ass" Aravena, a tae kwon do enthusiast and a bouncer in Mushey's strip club; a former iron-worker from Calgary named Brett "Bull" Gardiner, whom Mushey had recruited into the Bandidos; and another man known only as M.H. ===== The film tells the simple but amusing story of a "naughty" boy who paints the lenses of his grandfather's glasses while he sleeps. The man wakes up and thinks he has gone blind, creating a series of confusion in the house. ===== Jax Teller and five other members of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original chapter (SAMCRO) are released from prison after serving 14 months for federal weapons charges. Gasparinetti was dismissed from the army along with many other officers who had been known to be ardent supporters of Napoleon. Already a Freemason and member of the Grand Orient of Italy, he became a prominent member of the Centri, a secret organization composed of military officers and intellectuals based in Mantua but with adherents throughout Lombardy and the Veneto. Their goal, according to Gian Bernardo Soveri Latuada, a lawyer and leading member of the Centri, was "to work for the moral and civil regeneration of the Italian people". However, many of them were also strongly in favour of a united Italy free from foreign domination. A number of Centri members, including Gasparinetti, Soveri Latuada, the physician Giovanni Rasori, Brigadier General Gaspare Bellotti, and severa other high-ranking ex-military officers, were involved in the Congiura di Brescia-Milano ("Brescia-Milan Conspiracy"), a plot to overthrow Austrian rule in northern Italy. When the plot was discovered by the Austrian authorities in December 1814, Gasparinetti and his co-conspirators were arrested and taken to Mantua for questioning. All of them were ultimately condemned to prison, Gasparinetti for five years. In December 1815, the Emperor of Austria Francis I visited Milan for the first time. Gasparinetti's wife, Elisabetta Gafforini, along with the wife of Rasori, the mother of Bellotti, and the brothers of several other conspirators submitted fulsome supplications to the emperor asking for their relatives' sentences to be commuted. Earlier that year Gafforini had come out of retirement to sing at La Scala in the premiere of Il mistico omaggio, a cantata celebrating the return of Austrian rule which was performed in the presence of Archduke John of Austria. In the end, the emperor reduced Gasparinetti's sentence by 18 months, and he was finally freed on 9 March 1818. Gasparinetti lived out his remaining years in Milan, devoting himself to his writing, including two more plays. The first of them, Bibli, was dedicated to his wife. He also built up a collection of military memorabilia and became a benefactor of the main hospital in Milan. He died in 1824 in his 47th year. Elisabetta Gafforini lived on until 1847 and was survived by their daughter Eugenia. ===== right The film starts with an outside view of a small house, obviously a model. The windows and door start moving and the house take the shape of a face. A traveller enters the hotel and things start to move by themselves. A waiter brings the dinner and, on the table, the bread is cut by a knife moving by itself and coffee and sugar are served without human intervention. A small figure comes out of the milk jug to pour the milk in the cup before returning to the jug. The flabbergasted guest brings out of the jug a napkin which starts dancing by itself and, when he finally catches it, it turns into a sheet. The man finally goes to bed. The room starts turning around. The film ends with a big monster appearing behind the bed and catching into his huge hands the traveler and his blanket. ===== Angus "Mac" MacGyver, with help from Jack Dalton and Nikki Carpenter, infiltrates a party to steal a biological weapon.
