the peccary's a brainless beast,
but perfectly designed
to serve as a delicious feast
for carnivores unkind.

raccons are rarely in demand
where humans are concerned
a hungry coon, a tiny hand --
a trash can overturned.

in zoos, one rarely sees the seals;
the crowds won't let you through.
perhaps a gatling gun on wheels
would clarify the view.
