Status: O SUPERMAN STRIKES OUT ******************** One day Superman was squiring Lois Lane around town, and he was looking for a way to impress her. He spotted a lump of coal on the ground and saw his chance. He picked up the chunk and compressed it in his mighty hands, subjecting it to pressures and temperatures found only at the heart of a sun. Superman opened his hands to reveal, not a diamond as he had expected, but a smaller and denser lump of coal. Lois looked at it lying in his hand, and a frown creased her pretty face. Then she dumped him for Batman. -- This post is COPYRIGHT 1995, Andrew Solberg. All rights reserved.
