Consider your bedroom.  It has many right angles.  Now, is any part of
your body a right angle?  No.  At least, I hope not.

This proves you do not belong in the corners of your home.  You may
therefore throw them away.

Continuing this train of thought, you can chip away all the places
where you don't fit, and you'll soon be left with a perfectly you-shaped
region of space.

Unfortunately if this region does not touch a vertical plane, or if it
does so at an untenable angle your only choice, really, is to move.

I think the same is true of time, but it's difficult to chip a minute
off a month, and almost impossible to get a one-year lease on one year.
