Continuing this train of thought, you can chip away all the places where you don't fit, and you'll soon be left with a perfectly you-shaped region of space. Unfortunately if this region does not touch a vertical plane, or if it does so at an untenable angle your only choice, really, is to move. -- I think the same is true of time, but it's difficult to chip a minute off a month, and almost impossible to get a one-year lease on one year.
