Fictional Characters Get All the Girls is my ninth "24-hour album" intended to meet the constraints of the Album-A-Day project (and my tenth 24-hour album overall). It was written, recorded, and mixed in about 24 hours on May 17-18, 2005.

The song titles were suggested by numerous friends of mine; thanks to David Dyte, Sam Kabo Ashwell, Ryan Freebern, Zvi Gilbert, Ron Echeverri, Nicholas Vining, smarasderagd, and elthar.

Except the percussion loop on track #6, there was no programming or cut-and-paste--anything that repeats over and over was played over and over in real time.
